I believe that telling and preserving stories heightens the collective conscience, which propels us towards new paradigm shifts.
It is also my belief that some of the richest, most satiating stories are seemingly ordinary ones, narratives that center lives that look, feel or sound familiar like our own. They affirm our humanity, mold broken pieces into whole parts again and expand our capacity for compassion, grace and forgiveness.
